Management Engineering: The Major Qualifying Project (MQP)
The Major Qualifying Project forms an integral part of the learning experience in the Management Engineering program. MQPs for MGE majors are performed for a real business, and must be focused on the student's specific concentration area. The MQP allows the student to apply the skills, methods, and knowledge obtained in their course work to the solution of a real management engineering problem. Typical MQPs for MGE majors include:
