Information Technology Research Centers (ITRCs)
ITRCs Mission
The central mission of the Information Technology Research Centers (ITRCs) is to foster cooperative industry-university efforts to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of organizations through improved information technology practices. This is accomplished through a research program focused on a broad range of information technology-related issues of interest to participating organizations and a variety of information-sharing activities. The plural form of ITRCs results from our strong belief that information technology undergirds many aspects of organizational management. As such, the Information Technology Research Centers consist of a number of component centers or research projects that work together on information technology-related topics.
