Online MBA
Business travel. Twelve-hour workdays. Family responsibilities. There are a multitude of time demands busy professionals face that may make committing to an on-campus MBA impossible. WPI has the solution: the Online MBA, delivered on your schedule, via WPI's Advanced Distance Learning Network.
The Online MBA is identical to our on-campus MBA - same high-tech curriculum, same courses, same faculty, same expectations and admission requirements, same credential. You work virtually, teaming up with other online students as well as on-campus students. You may complete all or part of your MBA program online. There is no on-campus residency requirement.

We were one of the first universities in the United States to deliver an MBA via distance learning - we've been doing it since 1979. And we're good at it.
A correspondence program this is not. Online MBA students fully participate in all aspects of each course, including case discussions, team projects and project presentations. Using the Blackboard course management and communication tool, course materials are delivered online and students interact with their professors and fellow students via chat rooms, shared whiteboards and discussion forums.
You won't be alone, either. WPI provides a full support team available to help you, from faculty and teaching assistants to answer your questions, to our technical support gurus who will make sure you get the most out of your Online MBA experience. You'll also have a personal faculty advisor who will help you determine the best path in your Online MBA program to meet your goals.
The Online MBA is asynchronous - you decide when to do your course work each week - but courses are structured within a semester timeframe. This model provides you with both the flexibility and the structure to garner the maximum benefit from your MBA experience.
And just like the on-campus MBA, Online MBA students decide for themselves which courses to take each semester. On average, completing the Online MBA program takes about three years.
