Leadership in Action
Visionaries. Mentors. Advocates. Management students at WPI do more than learn about leadership - they are active leaders themselves. High-achieving, inquisitive, and broad-minded, they mobilize those around them, take initiative, and get involved in both their work environments and their larger communities. Employers know that WPI Management graduates hit the ground running, and make immediate contributions to their organizations. At WPI, we expect a lot from our students, but what marks them as true leaders is how much more they expect of themselves.
Tiffany R. Carl, '05
Recently honored as a University Ambassador, recognizing excellence in representing WPI to the outside world, Tiffany Carl's volunteer work is impressive. In the Admissions Office, including her work as a Crimson Key tour guide, and as a student ambassador visiting high schools in her home state of New York, she helps introduce WPI to prospective students, parents, and guidance counselors. She is an Orientation Leader and a Peer Advisor, welcoming new students to WPI and helping them succeed. She has served as chair for the Student Alumni Society, where she reaches out to students and alumni. She is a Global Ambassador for the Interdisciplinary and Global Studies Division, and a member of the WPI Trustee Mentor Program. In addition, she is a member of Rho Lambda, the Greek Women's Honor Society and has served as VP Finance for the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Tiffany has completed project work in Madrid, Spain; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and at the Wall Street Project Center in New York City. She has interned with General Electric and now has the envious task of deciding which of her many job offers she will take upon her graduation this May.
